Honda Other description

There is a crack in the lower fairing just over top of the exhust pipe. There is another cover piece that is broke just above the instrument panel.No rust in gas tank. Tires have about 1500 mi. on them. Brakes just rebuilt.

Honda Announces Returning 2013 Models with New Colors

As we mentioned in an earlier post about the Repsol edition CBR250R, American Honda has announced a number of returning models for 2013 featuring new color schemes. The returning models include the big touring Gold Wing, the Fury chopper, the 1312cc Sabre, Stateline and Interstate cruisers, the 750cc Shadow cruisers, the entry-level Rebel and the XR650L dual-sport. All model come back unchanged except for the paint, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda VFR800F

Gracing the new 2014 VFR800F is traction control, ABS, heated grips, adjustable seat height and self-canceling blinkers. The V-Four-powered machine has been re-tuned  for greater low and mid-range torque, and also receives a new telescopic fork, Pro-arm swingarm, wheels, new, slimmer bodywork and styling. Starting with the 782cc V4-VTEC engine, Honda engineers focused mainly on cam timing and valve duration/overlap to increase low-to midrange power and torque, claiming 104.5 hp @ 10,250 rpm and 55.4 ft-lbs of torque @ 8,500 rpm. Bore and stroke is 72mm x 48mm, with compression ratio of 11.8:1. VTEC valve timing still operates one pair of inlet/exhaust valves per cylinder at low rpm, and then switches to four as revs rise. Honda’s single-mode Traction Control System (TCS) is fitted as standard equipment and is operated from the left handlebar.

Honda introduced a new electric suitcase-styled scooter concept designed to be small enough to fit in the passenger compartment of a car. (Updated with more high-resolution photos). The Motor Compo concept was unveiled alongside Honda’s futuristic-looking Micro Commuter Concept electric car at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show.
