Honda Other description

Great condition first generation Honda NSR250R MC16. This is the first generation of the NSR250 line from Honda back when Honda was taking risks and building amazing advanced bikes. From an era we may never see again especially in the states. A V-twin Water Cooled Power valve 2 stroke street bike. These bikes are very narrow from the cock pit with the weight down low. Great for corner carving.

Here's a list of everything that has been done in the last 2 months.

New air filter
New float bowl gaskets
New fork seals
New plugs
New chain
New tires
New battery
New oil, coolant and brake fluid
Wheels powder coated
Forks rebuilt
Brakes rebuilt
Carbs ultra sonically cleaned

The bike was recently cleaned very thoroughly from top to bottom. Then set up to be ready to ride. I have not registered this bike yet but I legally imported it in my name and I can provide all the importation documents with a Bill of Sale. If you would like me to register it in my name I can do that for the price of the registration, roughly $300. I would also like to mention this bike has never been on eBay. I don't want it to be confused with the other MC16's that have been listed in the last few months.

Isle of Man TT 2012: Supersport TT Race 1 Results

Mon, 04 Jun 2012

Padett’s Honda racer Bruce Anstey won the first Monster Energy Supersport TT race of the 2012 Isle of Man TT by a mere 0.77 seconds over rider Cameron Donald. The race could have been even closer if Gary Johnson, another Honda rider, hadn’t run out of gas on the final lap. Before he ran out of fuel, Johnson was in the mix with Anstey and Donald with just 0.62 seconds separating the three riders.

Mystic Mac's 2014 MotoGP predictions

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

There is no real off season in Moto GP.  Although we complain about being starved of racing, for those at the sharp end, in little more than two months they have new bikes to assemble, team staff to put in place and sponsors to nail down that will pay for it all.  This time frame is also tight for riders, as it seems more every year go straight under the surgeon’s knife after the last round and spend the short winter recuperating for the season ahead. The 2014 Moto GP championship looks like a cracker as apart from the ten full factory riders we now have at least eight non factory riders with properly competitive machinery.  We also have five Brits on the grid, two with podium potential.  Whatever happens though (providing you have BT Sport) you can just sit back and enjoy watching the incredible Marc Marquez do things that shouldn’t be possible. Speaking of whom, I didn’t believe a Rossi replacement would come this soon.  And when I say replacement, I mean a rider that is the full package.  Although in some ways quite different to Vale, he’s an equally phenomenal talent plus a very likeable character that appeals to the masses and although respectful to his rivals off track, deadly competitive in the heat of battle.  Being young and good looking he’s obviously a dream for sponsors and the sport in general.  Marquez has evolved in his own way but thankfully into a perfect replacement for our sport when the VR steps down.

Honda MotoGP Testing Idled By Engine Failure Investigation

Wed, 29 Feb 2012

A red warning light prevented Honda riders from taking part in the second day of MotoGP testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. While its competitors were hitting the track, Honda was forced to wait for analysis on the engine of Dani Pedrosa‘s RC213V. A red warning light on the RC213V’s dash came on late in the first day of testing, indicating a potential failure.
