1980 Honda XL250S
I picked this item up at auction. The person selling it told me that it had been sitting for 30 years or so. It is a vintage year with very low miles. I had to replace the carburetor because the gas had dried out and plugged\corroded everything inside the carb. Once I did that, the unit started right up and runs great. I've been using it all summer and have had lots of fun with it however; I just picked up a Harley and now this needs to go. This is a dual purpose trail\street bike. Does great on the trails and can easily be driven to the trails without having to haul it. I picked up a re-jetting kit since we are at high altitude. I will include the kit with the sale. Ronax 500cc Two-Stroke Sportbike Coming June 8
Wed, 16 Apr 2014German company Ronax GmbH is producing a limited edition street-legal two-stroke sportbike rumored to be based on the Honda NSR500 GP racebike. The company isn’t releasing much information but what little it has revealed about the Ronax 500 has certainly piqued our interest. What we do know for certain is the motorcycle will be powered by a 500cc two-stroke V-4 engine, which sounds like Honda’s racebike of yesteryear.
Honda Canada to Launch CBR250R Racing Series
Fri, 30 Sep 2011Honda Canada will introduce a new national racing series featuring the CBR250R for 2012. The news is no surprise as Honda has been running a CBR125R Challenge racing series as a support class for the Canadian Superbike Championship since 2008. With the CBR250R on the market for nearly a year (and reportedly doing quite well at that), a racing series featuring the quarter-liter sportbike was almost inevitable.

Mon, 04 Mar 2013Ryan Villopoto captured his series-leading fourth win of the season in a red-flagged main event before a record crowd of 60,178 at St. Louis’ Edwards Jones Dome, as the 2013 AMA Supercross season reaches its midway point. The race started with MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot with Muscle Milk Honda‘s Justin Barcia and Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart on his tail.
