Honda Other description

I have the legal title, the bike is registered in New York State under my name and it has passed safety.

It kick starts easily.

I have had this bike for 8 years and rode it around NYC.  I have kept it running at tip top shape.  New battery, new back tire, new oil, new mirrors, new leg guard, new basket and got the muffler and back light about a year ago.  I have the key to lock the front tire and the helmet lock next to the seat.  The bike has both a side kick stand and a center stand.

I have the owners and mechanics manual printed out.  I have a new set of inter tubes, a battery charger, metric ratchet set and dampers to throw in there since I won't be needing them.

Yes, the bike has scratches, but it is 36 years old.  The electric start hasn't been working the last two years.

The continuation of Honda’s Red Riders Rewards program for 2014 means more than $5 million in earnings will be available to racers. Honda owners have the opportunity to earn payouts at more than 1500 races in 2014 motocross, off-road, dirt track, ATV and road racing contests throughout the country. Honda’s press release was awfully thin with details for road racers, instead focusing on a restructure of the off-road series payouts and the different ways competitors can hope to win money in.

AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Riders Gearing Up For Road America

Thu, 29 May 2014

The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.
