Honda NX650 description

This is the cult classic NX650 that uses the XR650L engine, only imported to the states for a few years.  They are pretty rare.  In Europe they are called the Honda Dominator and was very successful through the 2000's.  The bike is well cared for and comes with a pro duro aftermarket exhaust, the two OEM mufflers go with it, barkbusters hand guards, oxford heated handgrips, ROX handlebar risers, K&N air filter, sw motech center stand, stage 1 hot cam, battery voltage meter, and owners manual.  Withing the last 1500 miles it has got brand new JT sprockets and DID chain, fork seals, as well as Shinko 705 tires.

This bike handles great and the engine is obviously bulletproof.  It is a great commuter, as it has been getting 50+ MPG.  It's also a rad little dirt/fire road bike.    It has it's dings and dents as a dual purpose bike usually has, as you can see from the photos.  The suspension is a little soft, especially the rear shock.  I do not weigh much so if you're around 180+lbs you might want to consider an aftermarket rear shock.  The Cali tags are good til next June as well.  Let me know if you have any questions or are local and want to come check her out!

We started the morning at the Riders for Health workshop where the mechanics took us through their setup and maintenance program for their bikes. The celebs ran through the basics of bike maintainance, the mechanic boasted that bikes never come back to the workshop broken, they just come in for scheduled servicing.
