Bike is mechanically sound. Body is in great condition with the exception of a couple of small dings on the gas tank. (See pictures) I tried to get a picture of it the best I could.
This specific model bike was ranked among the fastest in production motorcycles with a design speed of 173 to 176 miles per hour. This bike is a great piece of history. Most of the time Rossi and Gibernau came together, it was a classic in the making but while Rossi on the factory Honda hunting down Gibernau on the satellite Honda is well worth watching, the threat of a looming Bayliss on the Ducati makes this one even better. Gibernau, fresh from a win in Germany at the previous round - having beaten Rossi to the line by 0.060 seconds - was full of fight.
Honda CBR250R Sticking Around for 2014, Getting Facelift to Match New CBR300R
Mon, 28 Oct 2013Earlier this month, Honda unveiled a new CBR300R model at the CIMAMotor show in Chongqing, China. The assumption was the 286cc CBR300R would replace the CBR250R as Honda’s entry-level sportbike. The CBR250R isn’t completely disappearing however, as Honda announced the 2014 version will be appearing at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, Nov.
