Honda Gold Wing description

2015 Honda Goldwing Trike. This one has it all -- a real dream machine head turner and not another like it.

Custom painted Jupiter Orange with $4,000 + in added accessories . Chrome everything and almost every accessory imaginable...and only 1,700 miles.

Hannigan conversion done by certified Honda/Hannigan dealer.  It has a six degree rake and custom 17" chrome rear wheels.   Hannigan whale tail and trunk spoiler, and a custom painted dash (see photo).

This Goldwing is completely equipped and needs nothing.  Intercom, cruise control, electric reverse, heated grips, heated seats, foot warmers and adjustable headlight beam.

This trike has every accessory I could find.  The extensive list includes cup holder, Utopia driver backrest, kurakyn passenger armrests with passenger cup holder, cell phone holder with double USB charging station, load bearing running boards, Kurakyn heel/toe gear selector, battery tender, Ergo II lit highway pegs, chrome brake pedal, battery charger connection, chrome side cover and engine cover, Kurakyn luggage rack, trunk lit spoiler, ISO (heated ) grips, Chrome front fender extension,   chrome lower front cowl with chrome goldwing emblem, chrome side grill covers, 3m tape on front of running boards,  chrome trunk light cover, and full set of orange baker wind wings.

Additional lighting includes LED fog lights, Kurakyn ring of fire, LED running lights that mount behind passenger seat , LED blue backlit chrome speaker grills, fairing light kit that includes signal lights on mirrors and $450.00 worth of lizard lights that light underneath in different colors, blink, etc.

I also installed custom diamond plate running boards to replace the stock rubber mats and custom fender guards with embroidered orange eagles (see photo).

This trike is well lit and easily seen on the road.  It also has custom painted valve cover emblems (see photo).

It also has a trailer hitch.

This trike rides great and is like new.  If you're looking for the nicest (one of a kind trike) you can find that is completely equipped and with low mileage this is it.  1,700 miles and still under Honda and Hannigan factory warranty.

Any dealer would price this trike at 50K or better.  $45,000 for quick sale.   Call 757 810 2948 or

Proof: Change chain, gain power

Wed, 22 Jun 2011

Point six of a BHP may not sound like much but, in my book, any gain is a good gain, especially when it’s as simple as changing a chain and sprockets. After all, you're going to have to do it sooner or later when your old chain and sprockets die their death. I’ve always been interested in what gains are available in the drive train.

McGuinness Tests Mugen Shinden Electric Race Bike

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Isle of Man TT veteran John McGuinness recently got a chance to test the new Mugen Shinden electric rice bike to prepare for the 2012 TT Zero. The test took place at the Twin Ring Motegi in Japan, a world-class racing circuit but perhaps not-coincidentally, a track built and owned by Honda, further fueling the belief the Mugen effort is a front for the Japanese manufacturer. The Honda-contracted McGuinness put the Shinden through its first big test, helping the Mugen team gather data on the electric racer.

Classic Race Finishes: 1991 250cc Misano Grand Prix – Video

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

More than just a medium to view countless hours of cat videos, YouTube allows us to look back at classic motorcycle races otherwise lost to the depths of the VHS tape. This time around features the no-holds-barred, back-and-forth action between Luca Cadalora, aboard the Rothmans Honda NSR250 and Helmut Bradl, father of current MotoGP rider, Stefan Bradl, riding the HB Honda NSR250. The stage is the 1991 250cc Italian Grand Prix at Misano — back when it was run in the correct, counter-clockwise, direction.
