I’ll be the first to admit that the procedure to get a motorcycle endorsement (and a car license for that matter) in this country is incredibly easy. If you’re smart, you sit in a classroom for a few hours, answer some basic questions, learn all the controls, perform a simple riding test, and you’re off to the races. This video of the Knockhill end of season Jock Taylor meeting in 1988 makes me smile. Even although I had the dream ticket of riding for HRC in the 500cc World Championship I never stopped wanting to come back to the homeland and race my old mates. Brian Morrison started racing on the same day as myself and went on to have a successful carreer riding for Honda in the UK then later in the World Endurance Championship.

Lehman Rolls Out Gold Wing F6B Trike

In what has to be the company’s biggest splash since being resuscitated by Champion Trikes a couple of years ago, Lehman Trikes has released the Monarch II LLS conversion for the Honda F6B. The Monarch II LLS features independent suspension, parking brake, 6-cubic-foot trunk with vertical lift door, and, like its namesake, a ton of accessories, standard. The conversion boasts Lehman’s trademark craftsmanship and styling along with the comfortable ride of the company’s new LLS independent suspension.
