Honda GL1100 Goldwing Aspencade Very clean low mileage example of the venerable GL1100 Goldwing. The odometer shows only 22,562 miles. This is not a barn find, rather a well maintained driver. The bike recently had $1200 in carburetor tuning performed to keep this beauty in perfect running order. The unit is equipped with saddlebags and topcase, factory radio and CB. The radio key has been misplaced but the radio and CB do turn on. Tires are in great condition, showing 3/32nds front and 6/32nds rear on Dunlop D404s. Brakes are 3/32, 4/32nds left and right front respectively. Rears are 5/32nds. The air compressor works as new for front and rear. A clean unit in very good condition overall. AMA Pro Flat Track Stars to Face Off in Ride Academy “Race of Legends”
Fri, 12 Apr 2013When the AMA Flat Track stars of today compete at the spring Springfield Mile, May 26 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, they will be joined by the stars of the past, taking part in the “Ride of Legends“. Hosted by the Illinois Motorcycle Dealers Association and Ride Academy, a riding school founded by multiple Grand National race winner Mike Hacker, the “Ride of Legends” exhibition race will feature several other past Grand National event winners racing each other on Honda dirt bikes. Joining Hacker will be Jay Springsteen, Joe Kopp, Rich King, Ronnie Jones, Steve Beattie, Steve Moorehead and Chris Carr.

In front of a record crowd of 46,896, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto raced to his second-consecutive AMA Supercross victory, an FIM World Championship, 450SX Class Main Event win at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Saturday night. Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps finished in second, and Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey followed in third.
