RARE ONE YEAR ONLY BIKE, CX500T TURBO HONDA. THIS WAS PURCHASED FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER WHO WAS A MACHINEST BY TRADE. HAND MADE CUSTOM EXHAUST HE HAD THE BIKE PAINTED WHEN NEW SO IT WOULD STAND OUT IN A CROWD. NEAT PERIOD SCHEME. THE BIKE HAS JUST BEEN STORED INDOORS FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. I AM NOT REALLY INTO JAPANESE BIKES, AND NOT AN EXPERT ON THE MODEL. THE BIKE WILL NEED WHAT EVER ANY MACHINE NEEDS AFTER SITTING FOR A LONG TIME, FULL SERVICE, FLUIDS, FLUSH, BRAKES GONE OVER ETC. Tue, 13 Oct 2009Valentino Rossi has finished on the podium eleven times in his twelve visits to Phillip Island across all three GP classes. The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.

Sat, 06 Apr 2013Back in the 60s, American Honda tested the durability of its motorcycles by sending a CL72 Scrambler on a 950-mile trek through rocks, sand washes, dry lake beds, mountain passes and paved roads. Fifty years later, that legendary run is remembered for inspiring one of the most significant off-road races in the world—the Baja 1000. In celebration, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is hosting a tribute dinner, one-day off road show, and summer-long exhibition called Braving Baja, 1,000 Miles to Glory.
