Honda CR description

There was no expense's spared when this bike was torn down and rebuilt. It is a 1994 engine and chassis. The list of parts that went in to this bike is very extensive, but the bike speaks for itself. To start, we tore it down completely. The frame and sub frame has been powder coated white. Swing arm was powder coated black. A new set of DNA rims for a Honda 450 were installed, this gives it a 19" rear rim. Honda 450 over sized foot pegs were machined to fit and a 450 front master cylinder. Steel braided brakes lines front and rear. Sunline breakaway levers installed. Radiators were sent to ICW to get welded and braced. Forks and shock were boxed and shipped to Factory Connection to get complete new internals. Brand new Service Honda carburetor was bought instead of trying to re work and old one. Engine is new, completely new. Fresh bore,( still has a couple bores left), crank, rod, shift forks&drum, seals, water pump, couple new tranny gears(second&third). New water pump. COMPLETE new OEM clutch and assembly. New rad valve. New air box with filter and cage. The engine does have a mild port. Brand new FMF exhaust. Brand new gas tank, because it was off white and did not match the fresh powder coating or plastic. Boyesen side covers. Lots of anodized bolts and master cylinder cap. There was roughly $14,000 spent on this bike with parts and time. There are more parts than what i am listing, just look at the bike and you can see that. The purpose of this bike to our customer was to race it in Motocross, needless to say it was more than needed. The bike is VERY fast. It runs like a brand new 1 did fresh out of the crate. This would be a great bike for a collector or someone to ride in the sand dunes. If you have any questions feel free to call 618-548-XXXX and ask for Dillon. Casey Stoner To Test Factory Honda At Motegi

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

British publication MotorcycleNews.com is reporting that 2007 and 2011 MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner will test a factory Honda RC213V at the Twin Ring Motegi, Honda’s test track, August 6-7. Stoner’s shock retirement from MotoGP at the end of the 2012 season was met with skepticism in some circles, as many believed (and still do) that the 27 year-old, current Australian V8 Supercar driver would eventually make a comeback to two wheels. As it stands, HRC has no plans to enter Stoner as a wildcard entry at Phillip Island or Motegi MotoGP rounds, and insists the former champion’s services are being used strictly to help develop next year’s RC213V and the 1000cc production racer Honda plans to introduce next year.
