Honda CL description

1968 Honda CL77 Scrambler. This bike was purchased by the current owner in 2008 with only 3 miles and has been garage kept and not ridden. The carbs have been cleaned and the engine has been started to make sure everything works and then the fuel was drained to prevent damage. Tires are original with no signs of dry-cracking. The wheels started to pit and rust from sitting in the crate so to be a more complete show bike it will need the rims and spokes replaced and the hubs cleaned up. Paint, rubber and chrome elsewhere are in great shape. Looking at the bike there is no reason to doubt that the mileage is accurate and everything is original.

This is a consignment sale. No warranty expressed or implied. Clear title. Winning bidder must contact within 7 days of auction close to arrange pickup and payment. Seller does not do shipping estimates, winning bidder must make all arrangements for pickup. Cash on pickup preferred.

Honda has patented its development in the field of interactive technologies that prevent accidents, following BMW. Honda engineers have proposed equipping the motorcycle with cameras and radars that will detect dangerous proximity to another vehicle or pedestrian and warn the driver through light indication or tactile feedback.
