2008 Honda Cbr 1000, Im selling my 2008 CBR1000RR limited candy red/ silver sport bike. It is in excellent condition and is running perfectly. It is under full warranty until Sept. 2014. Bike has a smoked windshield and a custom licence place/ rear turn signal assembly. I recently injured myself in a motocross accident and have put the bike on a PNO since I am unable to ride at the moment. I'm in no rush to sell. Will be using money as a down payment on a 2014 model when I'm finished recovering. Bike has 8314mi. Clean title in hand. Asking $7,200 cash, will consider reasonable offers. OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
2014 AMA Supercross – San Diego Results
Mon, 10 Feb 2014James Stewart captured his first AMA Supercross win of the season, leading all 20 laps before a crowd of 56,828 fans at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider becomes the fourth different winner of the season in the 450 class through six rounds. The news was less positive for last week’s winner Chad Reed.
2013 Honda CRF250M Launched in Thailand – The Supermoto Version of the CRF250L
Wed, 16 Jan 2013Honda has revealed a new supermoto version of the new CRF250L in Thailand dubbed the CRF250M. Like the L, the CRF250M uses re-tuned version of the CBR250R‘s engine, a liquid-cooled fuel-injected 249cc Single. When we dyno’ed the CRF250L in our recent 2013 250cc class dual-sport shootout, we measured a peak of 20.3 hp at 8700 rpm and 14.0 ft-lb.
