This is my 2005 Honda CBR 1000rr , that I have owned since 2007 .I am the second owner . I Purchased it with 1008 miles on it and it currently has 4979 miles . I only ride on Sunday's to avoid as many wacky drivers as possible . The bike has not been down at speed , however it has fallen over in the garage during oil changes . there are 2 cracks in the upper cowls where the directionals made contact with the ground . there are a few minor scratches on the decals on the lower cowls . overall the bike is in Excellent condition and is totally stock . NOTHING has been changed from the factory except the oil and filter . Has been garaged since owned . Includes owners manual and tool kit . Recall for 2008-2010 Honda ST1300
Mon, 18 Jul 2011Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.

Tue, 02 Oct 2012Today at Intermot 2012, Honda unveiled the CRF450 Rally, the machine it plans to enter in the 2013 Dakar Rally, marking the manufacturer’s return to the race after more than two decades. Honda has competed nine times from 1981 in the forerunner of the present Dakar Rally, the Paris-Dakar Rally. Cyril Neveu of France took Honda to its first victory in 1982, the race’s fourth year, and from 1986 to 1989 Honda won four consecutive titles for an overall record of five victories in nine years. The CRF450 Rally is based on Honda’s commercial CRF450X enduro racing model, and features electronic fuel injection, auxiliary fuel tanks in the panniers and lower side fairings, and the requisite navigation equipment located behind the windscreen.
