Honda CB description

It's a 1990 in great shape. It has been down before which scuffed up the rear cowl a little bit (shown in pictures). There is also some damage that was done to one of the motor mounts(I assume vibrations) I don't know the story behind these, but someone did a clean job welding up two spots, also pictured! Tank is very clean, in and out. It has about 17,300 miles and is located in Southern Maine. I am the third owner and have much of the documentation outlining the maintenance performed on the bike.

The exhaust tip has been modified and it has been re-jetted. The carbs have been cleaned recently. New battery, coolant, plugs, oil, filters(oil\gas), front and rear wheel bearings, chain, fork seals and dust covers; just needs someone who will ride it(and maybe a carb sync!). The revs hang a little bit when you let off the gas and pull in the clutch for a a second then return to idle, thus my thoughts on a carb sync requirement. It has "new" tires, they have about 1500 miles on them, but they were put on over 5 years ago.

I bought the bike thinking I would ride the heck out of it, I am not one for letting a bike sit, no matter how special. Unfortunately, that's exactly what the bike is doing as I some how ended up on a different bike.

We can discuss shipping, though it's up to you to work it out with a shipper. I have a big drive way so the shippers have been happy picking up the multiple bikes I have sold in the past. I can also deliver it within a reasonable distance if someone is along the east coast.

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions!

Do you remember Honda's EVO Blade?

Thu, 05 May 2011

I can remember exactly where I was when I first saw Honda's TT100 Evolution Fireblade: at the dinner table, reading MCN as a 16-year old lad and being told to put the paper down and get on with my dinner! I'm sure you appreciate why the lamb chops had to wait.. It was created by Honda to celebrate their 100th TT victory, however I'm pretty sure Honda had another agenda: to homologate it so they could put it up against the mighty new Yamaha R1 at the TT.

2011 Honda CBR125R Makes Canadian Debut

Fri, 10 Dec 2010

As we posted earlier this week, Honda Canada invited CBR125R owners to its corporate headquarters for the Canadian debut of the new CBR250R. But that wasn’t the only unveiling, as the 2011 edition of the CBR125R was also revealed. While the new 250 was the star of Honda Canada’s launch event, the 125 owners in attendance reacted positively to the updates for the 2011 CBR125R model.

Best Helmet Designs from the 2009 MotoGP Season

Thu, 22 Oct 2009

Unlike with most athletes, motorcycle racers’ faces remain hidden during competition. Except for promotional events or pre- and post-race interviews, the faces of our racing heroes are shielded under protective helmets with tinted visors. You don’t see the same human emotion in their faces like you can when soccer players score a goal or baseball players hit a home run.
