Honda CB description

I really hate to do this but here goes...my 1983 cb1100f. If you're looking at this auction you probably know all about this bike. All original...just over 20000 miles. I bought this from a collector that had a few of them. Not perfect...has a few small scratches on the fairing but they never bothered me enough to do anything about them. This bike draws a crowd anywhere I take it. There might be better ones out there...but not many. Starting bid is respectable and no reserve...any questions please email before bidding. I'm located about 20 miles north west of NYC...

The Japanese oddity to naming teams

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. Honda and Yamaha Pledge Support to Typhoon Victims in Philippines

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

Honda and Yamaha each offered aid to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan which struck the Philippines earlier this month. Initial estimates put the death tool at over 10,000 but Philippine President Benigno Aquino says the actual number maybe closer to 2,500. Still, the United Nations says more than 11 million people were affected by the typhoon, with about 673,000 displaced from their homes.

John McGuinness rides the electric future

Sun, 16 Jun 2013

Jump onboard with John McGuinness as he heads from the start line on his Shinden Ni / Mugen electric motorcycle in the TT Zero race. One wonders whether Honda would have announced that it is actually a Honda if McGuinness had taken the win. There's certainly plenty of Honda money behind the bike.
