This is an original 1983 Honda CB1100F The bike has brand new tires, Vance and Hines header and pipe, original seat with strap. The bike fires right up runs, and idles but could use some fine tuning due to the elevation change coming from Pensylvania and arriving at sea level. Great bike runs fast and strong, excellent braking and handling. Looks great, stands out in a crowd and is a blast to ride. All that and 40-45 miles-per-gallon in-town, hard to beat. The Italian division of Honda has comprehensively modified the CRF1000L, giving it the dashing style of an experimental vehicle along the way. There is a pretty good attempt to endow the motorcycle with the features of a Dakar monster.
Flooding in Thailand Not Expected to Affect Honda Motorcycle Production
Thu, 13 Oct 2011Severe flooding in Thailand has disrupted Honda’s automobile production but the company’s motorcycle production is expected to proceed normally. Hundreds have been died since July due to heavy flooding in Thailand and several provinces remain underwater as the Asian nation experiences its worst floods in 50 years. Heavy monsoon rains from multiple storm systems over the last few weeks have added to the problem, affecting millions in northern and central Thailand.
