Honda CB description

CB550-FZR600 Hybrid by Steel Bent Customs (California).

The original motorcycle is a 1976 Honda CB550F. The front and rear are from a Yamaha FZR600, giving the bike modern mono-shock suspension and disc brakes rather than drum. A modern Japanese version of the classic Triton. Rear-sets and clip-ons. Open velocity stacks.

Less than 2,000 miles since the original rebuild. Since the build, new fork tubes and seals, new tires, a new starter, a new battery, new levers and grips and a new custom leather seat have been all been added. Small indent on tank (smooth, no hard edges). There is no presence of rust inside the gas tank. There are some very minor scuffs and scratches that add to the bike's grittiness.

Fires right up. Ready to ride. Never abused.

I have video demonstrating the motorcycle starting from cold. I'd be happy to send the videos I have upon request.

Sounds and rides amazing. Probably the funnest toy I've ever had. Turns heads and draws crowds, wherever. Selling her before winter was part of the deal when I got married recently.

IMPORTANT:
  • Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping on their own. Under no conditions will I accept extra payment to cover any shipping expenses.Any extra money sent to me in violation of this will be considered a family donation :).
  • Will accept payment only in the form of a bank check (or cash), and I will then release the bike after I've confirmed with the bank that the check has cleared.
