Honda CB description

I took the best parts from two 1976 Honda CB 750 F (Super Sport) motorcycles and restored this beautiful bike.  It runs and handles great. I replaced the triple tree ball bearings with modern tapered bearings and installed progressive springs in the fork tubes. I used the engine and frame from the lowest mileage bike and completely refreshed just about everything except the engine which was only polished. It was painted with a high quality urethane candy red paint. I worked on the project for about 100 to 200 hours and spent about $4,600.00. I installed an ultimate Pamco electronic ignition kit in it with high output coils which really helps the performance. The carbs were carefully ultrasonically cleaned and polished. Too many things were done to mention, but the pictures say it the best. The front fender has a few minor dents that are hard to see in the pictures.

More European Consumers Choosing Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Honda‘s work developing its second-generation dual clutch transmission appears to be paying off, at least in Europe. According to Honda, customers have purchased more than 12,500 units with DCT since the technology was first made available on a production motorcycle with the VFR1200F in 2010. The Japanese manufacturer now offers four models in Europe with optional DCT: the VFR1200F, the NC700X, the NC700S, and the Crosstourer.

According to Honda's Australian YouTube channel the child riding the Honda CRF50F in this ad is following in his dad's footsteps, as he also rode a Funbike as a child. In the very same back yard that was used for the shoot. After seeing the film crew in action, the child's grandmother announced she had old Super8 footage from 30 years ago which was subsequently used for the opening scene.

Honda RC-E Electric Sportbike Revealed at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

Wed, 30 Nov 2011

We’re still waiting for any technical details but here are initial photographs Honda has released of its new RC-E electric sportbike concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. (Updated with six more high-resolution images.) Honda describes the RC-E as an electric version of a supersports bike, claiming a powerful and smooth ride for an electric vehicle within the compact form of a 250cc-class motorcycle. The images clearly show Brembo calipers and Ohlins suspension, and we especially like the LED headlights and the retro styling.
