I'm selling my rare 1976 Honda CB750A Hondamatic. It is mechanically sound and runs well. I bought it last year from a friend who no longer rides. The odometer says 29,900 miles but it was not working when I bought it so I have no idea of the original miles. The speedometer works fine now. The carbs have been cleaned recently, has new tires and tubes, new AGM battery, rebuilt master cylinder, new air cleaner, new mirrors, fresh oil and filter. It has been a daily rider since spring arrived..
Everything left to do on the bike is cosmetic like cleaning, removing surface corrosion on the forks and cleaning several years of dirt in hard to get places. The paint is all there but shows it's age. The seat pan and cushion is good but the left front side has a tear, repaired with tape that looks ok for me. A replacement cover is advertised on eBay for $79. The bike starts and runs fine and is a blast to ride. Just put it in low or drive and go. Everything on the bike works, signals, horn, fuel gauge, etc.The things that are frequently missing are there like the hard to find side covers and original air box. I'm only selling it because I have two other bikes and am out of room. I'll try to add more pictures later or upon request. The bag attached to the rear is NOT included (it belongs to my son). Parrish's predictions for Silverstone MotoGP
Fri, 18 Jun 2010I'm at Silverstone for the British MotoGP and Steve Parrish spoke to us all about his predictions for the podium. Parrish has gone for Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa to take the top three spots and spray the bubbly at the end of the race. Not too sure on his call though as I think Dani will be riding on a high after winning at Mugello and surely the speedy Spaniard will take full advantage and wring the neck of the Honda at the (supposedly) high speed Silverstone Circuit.
