Honda CB description

I have up for sale my 1975 Honda CB550F Super Sport (RARE) with approximately 15,000 original miles.  The bike has been in my family since 1984 and has been redone top to bottom.  The bike has mostly all original parts and some modifications to have been made to make it more unique and draws attention no matter where I am on it.  The list of mods include:

Custom Smoke Blue Paint
Mac 4-1 Header exhaust with silencer
Uni Air Filter Pods
Custom K-series emblems on the side covers, instead of the original sticker decals (liked the look better)
Chrome trim around the tank
Cheng Shin tires with a ton of tread life left

The bike has a brand new battery and recently replaced sparks plugs as well.  It has been sitting for a while and I want to sell it to someone who can ride it and appreciate it.  I recently rode it roughly fifty miles so I am confident that one could tag it and take off on it today.  The title is in hand and clear of any liens.  If you have any questions feel free to contact me.  My name is

Is this Valentino Rossi's missing NSR500?

Thu, 15 Apr 2010

CHECK THIS: the poster of this video on YouTube is asking if the machine in the clip is an ex-Valentino Rossi Honda NSR500 GP racer. Although, the bike looks the part, we doubt it's a 'missing' Valentino two-stroker. We weren't even aware the nine-time world champ had lost one!

2014 WSBK – Assen Results

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
