Honda CB description

Was in storage since 1992. Recently completed mild Cafe project.Very strong engine, runs great. Fresh oil change (Amzoil) and filter and pan filter, and fork oil.

New: tires, chain, battery, exhaust system, steering bearings, solid state regulator/rectifier, starter solenoid, shocks, fork brace, crash bars, right switch cluster.

Cafe seat was professionally upholstered on a stock seat pan (so it flips up like a stock seat). Rebuilt caliper and master cylinder, SS brake line.

Includes:  NOS Honda 605cc kit (sleeves, pistons, rings)   (When I was younger I wanted more speed, but this bike is plenty fast), over size carbs and oil cooler for the 605 kit,

All original take-off parts including: seat (excellent), tank (which needs Caswell treatment), front end, exhaust   header, etc.  many SS fasteners replaced originals

This is not a restoration, but is a 38 year old bike that shows the appropriate patina. Really nice, no issues. Clear title in my name. No warranty given or implied.

Non-refundable $500 deposit required at the auction end (contact me for deposit payment and balance payment).

Transport is the buyers responsibility.

The bike is being listed locally, and may be removed from the auction listing if sold prior to the auction end.

Thanks for your interest.

The Honda Collection Halls in Motegi

Fri, 14 Oct 2011

I thought you may have to be from a certain era to enjoy the Honda Collection Halls in Motegi but I was wrong. This immaculate museum has hundreds of race and road bikes on display starting with the first ever (wooden) motorcycle built right up to the amazing machines Pedrosa and co are campaigning this year. Being part of the Honda owned Motegi Twin Ring circuit complex, I was expecting it to be a Honda only zone so was amazed to see lots of iconic bikes from other manufacturers also on display.

Baker Vs. Marquez In Superprestigio Superfinal – Video

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Marc Marquez is an incredibly talented motorcycle racer, both on asphalt and in the dirt. His skills on the blacktop are well known by now, but his speed in the dirt opened some eyes as he demonstrated during the Superprestigio, an invitational dirt track event revived by Marquez to have a little fun in the off season and showcase the skills of some of the top riders in the world. Marquez handily won the Superprestigio class for grand prix racers, while the Open class, comprised of non GP riders, was won by that class’ most notable entry: American Brad Baker, the reigning AMA Grand National Champion.

Honda Zoomer X Prototype – New Ruckus Concept Revealed in Thailand

Wed, 28 Mar 2012

Honda Thailand unveiled a new prototype at the 2012 Bangkok International Motor Show showcasing the next generation of the Ruckus scooter. Known as the Zoomer in other markets, the Honda Ruckus is probably best known for its non-traditional scooter styling, with the usual tiny tires and wasp-like body replaced by a fat rubbers and exposed tube frame. The Honda Zoomer X maintains the original’s rugged-looking tires but instead of the exposed tubes, the Zoomer X has a boxy-looking structure, though like the original the space under the seat is exposed to the elements, so if you want to store something there you might have to break out the bungee cords.
