Up for your consideration is a 1975 Honda CB750K. Clear title with 33,699 miles. VIN# CB750-2521594 Engine# CB750E-2402452. Bike starts, runs, and rides but will need serviced before its a daily driver. Engine is quiet and smooth with no leaks or funny noises. Shifts thru all gears fine. Clutch feels good. Starts with ease using kick or electric start. Turn signals, buzzer, and indicator lamps are operational, will need a headlight bulb. Seat is original and looks new. Fuel tank is in very good condition inside and out. Petcock and carbs were recently cleaned. Front brake needs serviced and bled, rear brakes are in working order. Tires will need replaced as there is some weather checking . Chrome has some rust in areas. Side covers have been repainted and left cover is broke and missing bottom tab. Tue, 10 Jan 2012My long-term Fireblade went back to Honda last week and, seeing as it’s sunny and mild outside now, I’m already missing it. It is one of the best 1000cc sports bikes out there, I don’t care what anyone else says, the way it makes its power is just perfect for fast road use. With the Power Commander 5 fitted and the fuelling sorted my 2011 Blade performed as well if not better than the 2012 version.
Honda Developing V4 MotoGP Production Racer
Fri, 22 Jun 2012Honda is reportedly developing a production racer based on its RC213V racebike that could be sold to teams looking to compete in MotoGP. The new racebike is expected to be of a lower-spec than the RC213V prototype but perform better than a CRT machine with a production-based engine. According to a report by racing site MotoMatters and French magazine Moto Journal, the new V4-engined production racer will be sold to race teams instead of being leased, as is the case with current satellite teams and their race prototypes.
Honda Recalls Gold Wing for Combined Braking System Issue
Mon, 05 Dec 2011Honda is issuing a recall for the 2001-2010 and 2012 Gold Wing due to a problem with the combined braking system. The recall campaign affects 126,000 units sold in the U.S. over the past decade.
