Honda CB description

I just finished this beautiful little cafe racer.  It is new from top to bottom.  I'm not sure how to best describe it so I will begin by bullet pointing all the trick parts on the little girl.

  • New Tapered Steering Head Bearings
  • New Swing Arm Busings
  • New Bridgestone Tires
  • New chain and sprockets
  • Professionally Painted Ducati Red
  • New CR style tank and seat pan
  • New custom black leather seat with red stitching
  • New wiring
  • New Lithium battery...incredibly light and great cranking amps
  • Engine completely disassembled, inspected and reassembled with new rings and all new bearings
  • Polished engine cases
  • Polished original handlebar switchgear
  • Polished forks
  • Polished wheels and hubs
  • Factory speedo and tach
  • Honda CL pipes professionally heat tape wrapped
  • New Exhaust canisters
  • All new Engine gaskets and O rings
  • New Teflon Cam Chain tensioner
  • New Tarozzi Rear sets
  • New Tarozzi Fork Brace
  • All New Cables
  • New brakes front and rear
  • All wiring professionally moved to the tail section
  • 35MM Honda 450 front end and triple clamps
  • Honda 450 front brake
  • Honda 450 large headlight shell
  • New rear shocks
  • New front fork springs
I'm sure that I am forgetting some things but as you can see from the pics the bike is beautiful.  It has been well sorted and starts with one kick or a simple push of the starter button. The bike is a perfect representation of what I think a cafe racer should be. You can run it on the street, fully licensed and titled in CA, or do a little safety wiring and be competitive in vintage racing.  I'm not sure what else can be done to this little cb350.  Although it would be a shame, she would also be perfect in your office as a centerpiece of period cafe styling, but she was built to ride.

She runs much better than new and really screams down the road.  Because she handles so well and is so light and nimble she can stay with much bigger sport bikes in the twisties and when you stop for coffee she is surrounded by people who want to know about the bike.  I'm very pleased with how the project turned out.

I know that you will be completely pleased with this bike, it is fabulous. Please feel free to ask any questions and if you are in the area I would be happy to show you the bike in person.

2013 European Junior Cup to Use Honda CBR500R

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

As expected, Honda announced its new CBR500R sportbike will be featured in the 2013 European Junior Cup, a single-spec racing series that competes at European rounds of the World Superbike Championship. We saw this coming when Honda announced it would supply an all new sportbike for the European Junior Cup, but the news wasn’t official until after Honda unveiled the CBR500R alongside its siblings the CB500F and CB500X at the 2012 EICMA Show. Plus this also gives us an excuse to run a 39-picture gallery of the new CBR500R after the jump.

Dakar Begins This Sunday!

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

Dakar is an international, bad-ass, multi-day off-road event and if you’re not a fan you should be. Crossing the borders of Argentina, Bolivia and Chile the route takes motorcycle and ATV competitors through more than 5400 miles of extreme riding conditions. Competing cars and trucks go even farther.
