Available now with a fresh tune up is this beautiful 1972 Honda CB450, built in the traditional Cafe Racer style. Starting with a 1500 mile 1972 Honda CB450 twin, this bike was rebuilt from the ground up. No bolt was left untouched and every mechanical portion of the bike was refreshed. Mechanically this is a mostly stock Honda so parts and repairs are easy. The motor was refreshed and machined to a .025 overbore and NOS valves were added at the time of the build. Partial list of all the goodies added during the build, all top quality aftermarket, custom made and brand new NOS parts used. Sun Aluminum Rims ; carbon steel spokes ; All Balls wheel and steering bearings, Continental GO! tires ; MBW turn signals ; Bikers Choice flush mount fuel cap ; electronic ignition with Dyna ignition Coils ; LED lights all around ; Acewell digital gauge. Bike has been professionally tuned and runs great. A show stopper for sure, has won awards at every bike show and always turns heads on the street. Wed, 06 Aug 2014The 2014 edition of the LA Calendar Motorcycle Show continued its now 23-year tradition as the premier outdoor streetbike event in America with producer photographer Jim Gianatsis moving the show this year to the beautiful green lawns of the Malibu Golf Course among the twisty canyon roads in the Santa Monica Mountains alongside the Pacific Ocean. Highlighting this year’s exciting activities was the emergence of another new and soon to be renown custom bike builder to the sport for which the Calendar Show is known for cultivating. Taking Best of Show in this year’s Calendar Bike Building Championship was Calin Senciac’s Imagine Vehicles International / ImagineVehicles.com motorsports fabrication shop with an incredible custom billet aluminum designed chassis built by Terry Ward and the shop crew, housing a legendary 1979 Honda CBX 1047cc air-cooled in-line 6-cylinder engine.
Rossi runs special Simoncelli tribute helmet
Sun, 06 Nov 2011During the 10 o'clock trial laps today, Valentino ran with a new helmet dedicated to his friend Marco Simoncelli. To demonstrate how much Valentino was affected by the tragedy that hit the Honda rider, Valentino's helmet will be divided in half: the front part of the AGV GP-Tech will be exactly like Marco Simoncelli's, with its red and white motif and ever present number 58, while the back will maintain the colours Valentino used throughout the 2011 season. Vale will use the helmet for all of Valencia's weekend.
