Honda CB description

1973 Honda CB 350 Vintage Motorcycle 2nd Owner,  Two keys available.

Sold as is Used. Purple with White Pin Striping.

The motorcycle has a clear and clean Missouri state title.  6,271 original miles.  Runs, Rides, Shifts perfect.  My husband purchased this bike for me and had the carburetors service.  Starts with electric or kick start.  We began cleaning it up after we purchased it, but did not complete getting the rust off.  As far as we know everything is original on it. The windshield has some discolor and the original red cover we never used.  It is not in good shape it came with the bike.  The bike had a new battery installed a year ago, all the lights, gauges, signals, horn works as they should.  Bike is 43 years old.  The fuel tank has one minor dent about the size of a dime or less, left side of tank.  Please see photos. Paint is in good condition.  Winning bidder pays for all shipping charges incurred.  Must pick up within 2 weeks of auction end.  I will work with your pick up arrangements the best I can.  Please don't bid if you cannot pay for the bike or shipping charges.  Deposit is non-refundable.  Bike and title will be released after funds have been cleared. Deposit required within 24 hours of auction close.  Full payment is required within 7 days of auction close.  I have described the best I could all the faults on this bike.  The rust was coming off when we started cleaning it up; just did not have time to finish.  No holes in the exhaust, the chrome all over has some rust.  Tires are worn, may be original.

Payment methods:

Pay pal, money order, cashiers check or cash in person.

Please see photos for any defects.  Item may be a shade darker or lighter as photos do not show color variance.

Intermot 2012: Honda CRF450 Rally Unveiled

Tue, 02 Oct 2012

Today at Intermot 2012, Honda unveiled the CRF450 Rally, the machine it plans to enter in the 2013 Dakar Rally, marking the manufacturer’s return to the race after more than two decades. Honda has competed nine times from 1981 in the forerunner of the present Dakar Rally, the Paris-Dakar Rally. Cyril Neveu of France took Honda to its first victory in 1982, the race’s fourth year, and from 1986 to 1989 Honda won four consecutive titles for an overall record of five victories in nine years. The CRF450 Rally is based on Honda’s commercial CRF450X enduro racing model, and features electronic fuel injection, auxiliary fuel tanks in the panniers and lower side fairings, and the requisite navigation equipment located behind the windscreen.

Pulling the pin ...

WARNING: Not for the squeamish. You're looking at surgeons removing a pin from Ten Kate Honda man Jonathan Rea's wrist. The World Superbike frontrunner underwent surgery after sustaining fractures during a fall in qualifying at Imola, which hampered the Irish racer's end of season performance.
