Honda CB description

Starts right up and runs with no problem, but the tank was treated inside with POR-15 sealant, and the sealant is flaking off, and that and the petcock will need to be cleaned out before you can ride any distance. Bike is not perfect, but nice enough...has dents on one side of the tank and the fork leg covers and scratches in the paint. Some chrome parts like the chain guard are pitted. New battery, master cylinder, and other stuff I cannot remember. Brand new Macs 4-1 chrome exhaust. Missing only the rubber boots between the airbox and the carbs. Seat lock does not work. Study the pictures and ask any questions. Can work with your shipper for export.

The race could have been even closer if Gary Johnson, another Honda rider, hadn’t run out of gas on the final lap. Before he ran out of fuel, Johnson was in the mix with Anstey and Donald with just 0.62 seconds separating the three riders.

Honda Developing V4 MotoGP Production Racer

Fri, 22 Jun 2012

Honda is reportedly developing a production racer based on its RC213V racebike that could be sold to teams looking to compete in MotoGP. The new racebike is expected to be of a lower-spec than the RC213V prototype but perform better than a CRT machine with a production-based engine. According to a report by racing site MotoMatters and French magazine Moto Journal, the new V4-engined production racer will be sold to race teams instead of being leased, as is the case with current satellite teams and their race prototypes.
