Honda CB description

For sale is a very nice, vintage 1970 Honda CB350 motorcycle, of which I am the second owner. The bike has been professionally serviced, needs nothing, and is ready for the road.  The fuel tank is clean steel on the inside, petcock is brand new, fuel lines are new, as well as new fuel filters.  The paint is original.  It is not perfect, but is better than most, and looks very nice.  The bike is not rusty, and the tank has no dents.  All of the cables have been replaced with new ones.  Both front and rear brakes have been serviced, and they work perfectly.  The bike was just tuned up, and the points replaced.  The carburetors have been professionally rebuilt, synced, and tuned, using brand new parts.  The battery is brand new, and the charging system functions as it should.  This motorcycle has kick, and electric start, both function perfectly.  The rear drive chain has been replaced, and will give years of service.  Both of the tires, as well as inner tubes and rim straps, are brand new.  Every rubber engine seal in the bottom end has been replaced, as well as all of the cover gaskets on the engine.  This motorcycle does not leak any oil.  While the aluminum engine covers were off, they were professionally sanded, smoothed, and polished.  The bike has period correct Mac exhaust pipes on it, and sounds great.  This is a very nice motorcycle, and it is ready to ride.  This is not a project bike, and needs absolutely nothing.  All work was done by a professional motorcycle technician, and will give you years of reliable service.  I am confident that the new owner will be extremely happy with their purchase.  The best way to view the bike, is in person.  Original mileage is 7,000.  Title is clear, and in hand.   I am happy to send specific photos to serious bidders, at their request.  Please ask any and all questions that you may have about the Honda before bidding.  Payment from the winning bidder is due upon completion of the auction.  I accept cash and Paypal.  Thank you for looking, and good luck!

Voluntary Recall for Continental ContiMotion Sport-Touring Tires

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Continental Tire announced a voluntary recall campaign for certain ContiMotion sport-touring tires. According to Continental, market feedback has shown some tires may experience uneven wear from the 180/60R16 74H ContiMotion rear tires. Tires may develop groove cracking and, in some cases, belt lift, conditions which can lead to a loss of tire inflation pressure and a potential for loss of control.

Best Helmet Designs from the 2009 MotoGP Season

Thu, 22 Oct 2009

Unlike with most athletes, motorcycle racers’ faces remain hidden during competition. Except for promotional events or pre- and post-race interviews, the faces of our racing heroes are shielded under protective helmets with tinted visors. You don’t see the same human emotion in their faces like you can when soccer players score a goal or baseball players hit a home run.

Dani Pedrosa And Marc Marquez Playing On Trials Bikes – Video

Fri, 24 Jan 2014

An under appreciated pocket of our sport, trials riding is some of the most difficult there is. Combining balance, grace, and visual awareness — along with deft clutch and throttle hands — riding a trials bike is hard. Here Repsol Honda MotoGP riders Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez try their hands at it with the help of two of the best in the world: Toni Bui, world champion many times over, and his Repsol teammate Takahisa Fujinami.
