This bike has not run since 2010. I rebuilt the carbs and petcock with OEM parts, replaced the battery, replaced a broken throttle cable. The bike runs but needs to be tuned.
See pics for condition - I am happy to provide more pics or detail, just ask. The steering stop is broken which allowed the headlight ear to dent the tank on the left. There is a small rip in the seat on the left side. The motor has no cracked or broken fins. The side covers are decent with some small cracks around the mounting posts. The bike has pod filters and a Bassani 4 into 1 exhaust - it sounds great. I have two keys for it and a clean MA title. All shipping costs will be on the buyer, I will assist any way I can. Honda Fury Special Edition Controversy?
Fri, 17 Jul 2009It seems the idea that there is a “special edition” Honda Fury has achieved urban-legend levels. Motorcycle.com recently spoke to Jon Seidel of American Honda to clarify some of the controversy generated in www.furyforums.com regarding a special edition Fury model. According to Seidel, no mention was ever made to the media during the Fury’s press unveiling or in any press material or at any other time, “that any Fury color or specific Fury model was a special edition.” Seidel stated that he also queried Honda’s product planning department about the existence of any special edition models and reported that no information had ever been released or implied from Honda Product Planning as to the existence of a Fury SE.
Honda Prototypes and Pre-Production Models for 2013 Osaka and Tokyo Motorcycle Shows
Tue, 12 Mar 2013Honda will display a number of new motorcycles at the upcoming Osaka Motorcycle Show and Tokyo Motorcycle Show in addition to a new 400cc version of its 500-series models. Honda describes the new motorcycles as exhibition models or models planned for production. The new models include the previously announced-for-North America CTX700 and CTX700N, and the Thailand-bound CRF250M motard (pictured above).
2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results
Mon, 06 Jan 2014KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
