I HAVE A 1961 CB92 THAT I HAVE OWNED FOR OVER 45 YEARS. BIKE HAS BEEN TAKEN APART AND TOTALY REDONE. NEW PAINT ETC ETC. I HAVE BEEN A MOTORCYCLE MECHANIC FOR OVER 40 YEARS MYSELF. I PUT IN THE 150 KIT RECENTLY WITH YB RACING CAM AND RED WIRE COIL. THE LEFT MUFFLER IS NEW AND THE RIGHT MUFFLER HAS BEEN WELDED UP AND PAINTED. I LIKED THE RED COLOR VERSUS THE ORIGNAL BLUE. I WILL NOT SHIP THIS BIKE BUT I WILL HELP WITH WHAT EVER I CAN. I REQUIRE A $500.00 DEPOSIT THROUGH PAYPAL WITHIN 72 HOURS AND THE REMAINING BALANCE PAID WITH A CERTIFIED OR CASHIERS CHECK WITHIN 10 DAYS. I had shared my impressions of some of the upgrades to the new Wing in blog posts earlier in the week (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3), but these focused mostly on some comfort and convenience updates and the bike’s ability to eat up open stretches of pavement. But on this day we put the Wing to a completely different test: the Tail of the Dragon, US 129 in North Carolina.

He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.

Tue, 01 Oct 2013If you’re a fan of scale model racing motorcycle kits, this 1/12 scale model of the Elf5 racer, as ridden by Ron Haslam in 1988, should make your mouth water. Designed by famous F1 designer André de Cortanze, the Elf5 was the culmination of a radical experiment by de Cortanze and Elf, the French petroleum giant. And even though it didn’t claim the racing success Cortanze and Elf had hoped, the experimental Elf motorcycles hold a distinctive place in motorcycle racing history, with some of its technology still in use today. Powered by a Honda NSR500 V4 engine that served as a stressed member and main mounting structure for the single-sided swingarms both front and rear, this recently released scale model is based closely on the actual Elf5 racing machines. This full detailed kit maintains the single-sided suspension, with the front suspension consisting of aluminum alloy and springs that will be partly movable.
