1966 Honda CA77 305 Dream 8396 Original Miles - Strong runner in its original paint!
This bike was put back on the road in the spring of 2013. I've only put 254 miles on it since then and it's time for someone else to enjoy it. Carb and petcock cleaned and rebuilt with new OEM Honda parts. Gas tank nice inside, only cleaned and flushed. New fuel lines. New battery in 2015, new plugs, fresh engine oil just today, new fork oil, and other OEM Honda odds and ends. Period correct tires from Coker have 254 miles on them. All lights and electrics work as they should. All other maintenance items like valve clearances, ignition timing, cam chain tension, etc. are DONE. The original red lacquer paint is in nice shape but does look a little better in the pictures than it does in person. Chrome is good for 50-year-old Honda chrome. No significant rust. Mufflers are solid with OEM baffles. This Dream is ready to ride and enjoy. Note pictures 23 and 24 show the bike with a solo seat that I will include with the sale. Clear Ohio title in my name. Lorenzo Wants to Race at Assen Despite Breaking Collarbone in Three Places
Fri, 28 Jun 2013Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.

Fri, 10 May 2013A South African friend of mine called Trevor Binder told me last weekend I’m quite obviously in the advanced stages of a terrible disease. He recognises the affliction because he admits to suffering from the same condition for many years and so far hasn’t found a cure. He says he can’t stop collecting bikes and while I didn’t think I had a problem, last weekend he pointed out I should be careful as I’m starting to acquire bikes at an alarming rate. I wasn’t really worried about spending a modest amount of cash an old KTM 125 race bike, a 350 LC and a Fizzy over the past six months but Trevor says I’m on a slippery slope. He says it always starts with bikes that have some sentimental value but then swiftly moves on to buying any old tat. Trevor is a wealthy man with dozens of nice bikes in his collection but more recently has been on Gumtree bidding for £150 Solex front wheel drive step - thrus, and doesn’t know why. Closer to home, James Whitham has recently confirmed he may also have these symptoms and is actively seeking therapy. I’ll be monitoring the situation from now on but in the meantime if anyone hears of a reasonably priced Raleigh Wisp for sale please let me know.

Tue, 08 Jul 2014Rob Muzzy, a top tuner, engine builder and race team owner has been elected to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Class of 2014. Muzzy, who was elected to the Road Racing category, will be inducted at the 2014 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Oct. 17, in Orlando, Fla.
