I'm looking to sell my 2005 V-Rod. I don't have as much free time to ride it these days and I hate for it sit around and collect dust. It has dealer-installed Screaming Eagle pipes, custom VROD seat, removable windshield, custom mirrors and pegs, passenger backrest and rack. The bike has lots of chrome. I also have the original solid aluminum wheels that came with the bike (never used). The front tire was repalced last summer with only a few hundred miles on it. I replaced the brake lines with braided versions. The battery was replaced this Spring (2013). All service has been performed at Harley-Davidson dealers using synthetic motor oil. I'm the original owner, purchased from Annapolis Harley-Davidson in 2005. The bike runs fantastic and is very fast. It has less than 6500 miles. Fri, 21 May 2010Harley-Davidson opened its first dealer in China in 2005, they now have four dealers operating nationwide (Shanghai, Beijing, Qingdao and Hong Kong). Harley reported that sales had doubled in China last year and plans to open four new dealerships this year (Wenzhou, Xiamen, Dalian and Chengdu). According to Rodney Copes, Harley’s Vice President of international sales, China is the fastest growing market for the American motorcycle manufacture.
2013 Harley-Davidson Models Revealed in CARB Documents
Fri, 22 Jun 2012The bulk of the 2013 Harley-Davidson model lineup has been revealed in documents released by the California Air Resources Board. While this is a fairly lengthy list of models, it may not be complete as Harley-Davidson sometimes saves a couple of new model announcements for later in the year. Most of the models revealed are returning models but there are a couple of omissions as well as several additions, including new anniversary models celebrating Harley-Davidson’s upcoming 110th anniversary.
Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
