2004 Harley-Davidson VRSCA V-Rod, 2004 V-Rod with performance exhaust! - Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. What you’re seeing here is indeed 115 horses of a very different color. The muscle-and-metal-to-the-max VRSCA V-Rod gone tinted. For 2004, we took the aluminum bodywork through the paint booth and came up with some standout shades, including Lava Red Sunglo that’s sure to stop a sidewalk full of pedestrians dead in their tracks. From there, we went further. The perimeter frame has a new sliver-leaf powder-coat for sheen. The overall effect carries on its crowd-drawing tradition. And it enhances the long, low hot rod theme provided by the 49mm, 38° raked fork, 180mm rear tire, solid disc wheels and sweeping exhaust. The strapping, 60° V-Twin Revolution power plant sends it all blistering into motion. Liquid-cooled and fuel-injected, it displaces 1130cc and pumps out 115 horsepower. Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.

Fri, 08 Aug 2014ACCEL today announced the company’s popular motorcycle Stealth SuperCoils will now be available to owners of 2007-2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters. First introduced in late-2013 for Harley-Davidson Twin-Cam engines, ACCEL’s Stealth SuperCoils provide quicker engine starting and improved throttle response, while hiding all ignition wiring in the head of the self-contained coil pack; eliminating the need for spark plug wires and creating a clean, custom look. In addition to the flat black and natural aluminum finishes, the Sportster Stealth SuperCoils are offered in flat black with polished aluminum edges. Each SuperCoil mounts directly to the spark plug and features a cross-functional cast aluminum cover that also acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.
