Harley-Davidson VRSC description

2002 Harley-Davidson VRSCA V-Rod, VROD Racing - V-ROD Expands Harley-Davidsons legendary line as first Performance Custom Bold, expressive and powerful are terms used to describe the newest member of the Harley-Davidson family. In motion or portrait, the long, low-slung lines of the V-Rod evoke muscular images, while the power pulsing from the all-new, liquid-cooled V-Twin Revolution engine ignites a passion for performance deeply rooted in Harley-Davidsons American racing bloodline. An extension of a legendary line of motorcycles, the V-Rod represents the first member of a new family of Harley-Davidson motorcycles - the performance custom. A tightly refined package of pure custom Harley-Davidson style and attitude backed with the performance of the Revolution engine, the V-Rod plays to your senses and your soul.

To accomplish this wish, Standley and his family made arrangements for him to buried in a Plexiglas casket riding his 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. Warning: A graphic photograph of Standley in his casket can be viewed on the Dayton Daily Times website.
