Just rebuilt this past 12/13 winter. Took 3rd place Modified Harley in national show finals(ultimate builder series) Frame off build!. Top brand everything........ Performance Machine.....wheels,hand controls, foot controls,hydraulic clutch, open belt/ Roland Sands motor covers timing, heads/ All panels on bike are new except gas tank....Yaffee dash and streched nacelle, Arlen Ness front fender 23, Baddad bags and rear summit all in one fender, Fatbaggers drop seat, Harley davidson razor tour pak. Mild built 103, was 96 stock. 200/18 rear tire 130/23 front. Raked trees by PickardUSA . Sick paint job done by Iron Horse Paint. Lined saddlebags to match bike. Have a solo seat that goes with bike(uncovered, so you can design your own) Low profile windshield also goes with the bike. ABS brakes. Way too much to list but this gives you the general idea. This bike drops jaws where ever I go with it.... The pictures do this bike no justice at all! Any questions please ask! Thanks for looking! Vespa goes back to the future
Thu, 22 Nov 2012IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while. I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.
Harley-Davidson Confirms 500cc Model on the Way, Says Electric Harleys Not That Far-Fetched
Mon, 02 Sep 2013It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. We’ve previously written about Harley-Davidson’s plans to introduce a new 500cc V-Twin model for the Indian market.
