Harley-Davidson Touring description
THIS AUCTION IS FOR A 2008 HARLEY DAVIDSON STREET GLIDE FLHX . THIS MOTORCYCLE WAS IN AN ACCIDENT IN AUGUST. IT HAS A CLEAR TITLE. THE BIKE RAN MINT WITH ONLY APPROX 18K MILES ON IT. IT APPEARS THAT THE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION DID NOT RECEIVE ANY DAMAGE. THERE IS SOME ROAD RASH ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PRIMARY COVER BUT THAT WAS THERE BEFORE ACCIDENT FROM CORNERING. THE FRAME SEEMS TO BE GOOD EXCEPT FOR THE REAR FENDER MOUNTING AREA THAT COULD BE STRAIGHTENED. THE FUEL TANK ONLY HAS A COUPLE OF REAL SMALL DIME SIZE DINGS. STOCK PARTS ARE VERY CHEAP AND EASY TO BUY FOR THIS MODEL BECAUSE ALOT OF PEOPLE CUSTOMIZE THEM. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT REBUILD PROJECT FOR SOMEONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A STREET GLIDE AT A FAIR PRICE OR THE BEGINNING OF A CUSTOME RIDE. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. CLEAR TITLE IN HAND. I CAN HELP ARRANGE SHIPPING INSIDE STATES. EXPORTERS WILL NEED TO ARRANGE OWN SHIPPING.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’
Tue, 21 Sep 2010Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight. King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode. See his comments about the production here. Wesll Quad Prototype
Mon, 09 Feb 2009A number of manufacturers have tinkered with various three-wheeled motorcycle applications over the years. Companies like Piaggio, Can-Am, Brudeli and even Harley-Davidson have produced unique trikes with ranging levels of success. The Wesll Corporation is attempting to do one better, literally, as it develops a four-wheeled mechanism that could be applied to many different kinds of bikes.
AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
