Harley-Davidson Touring tech info
Harley-Davidson Touring description
This is a mint condition Harley Streetglide FLHX with METALLIC DEEP BURGANDY PAINT SCHEME. Perfectly kept in a
garage since I bought new. I am the original owner. Bought at New River
Harley-Camp Lejeune NC. 2570 miles is as low as I have ever seen. Extras are crash bar 6 position pegs, HD custom seat, detacheable
passenger back rest..ALL GENUINE HD. The new seat has the opening for a driver rest too and is far more comfortable than stock.
This bike's story is this... I retired from the Marines after
numerous injuries and surgeries. My lower back hardware makes it
impossible for me to ride. I cared for this bike with my heart and soul.
Only one rock chip. Thats it. THIS PRIVATE OWNER BIKE IS WHAT WE DREAM FOR, THOUSANDS LESS THAN NEW BUT HARDLY USED. AGAIN....2570 miles.
Paint, chrome, plastic is immaculate. Not a single crease in the
leather. New battery. CD MP3 player is perfect...Harmon Kardon sound
system, electronic cruise control, ABS anti lock brakes, 96 cu inch Twin
cam 96. Six speed overdrive. Tread, hardly worn....see mileage.
Its nearly stock so YOU can customize to YOUR taste..which was my dream but I can't now.
NADA retail has this bike at $17,248 average retail. Kelley BB has
it at $15,265. I have this priced locally in Missouri at $13,900. And of
course on here at ebay.
I reserve the right to end auction if someone here buys it.
I'll throw in some leather clothing & my pingle front wheel lock for a trailer.
$500 down via paypal within 24 hours. Remainder must be presented as
cash or certified bank check that I can verify in the spot. Seven (7) days from end of auction, item must be paid and picked up or down payment is forfeited. Cash is preferred, we will exchange at easy to find location. Near I-55 exit. The money down
from paypal is a non refundable deposit because it takes it off market
if you don't follow through...I want to make this clear. Title will be delivered within 20 days of
sale closure. I owe $2800 from Harley Davidson Eagle Mark Bank. I will
provide you with a tag and complete bill of sale. Registration always
current. This is STREETGLIDE is mint, never down, not even on grass. This is the kind
of pre owned bike we hope for, meticulously cared for and no BS
transaction.
Contact me with any questions first.

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India
Fri, 18 May 2012India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
2010 Sportster Forty-Eight [video]
Mon, 25 Jan 2010Watching the promo videos that Harley-Davidson puts out does get me pumped. Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great! Harley could use some positive feedback after they announced their Q4 results… Get the Flash Player to see this player. The 2010 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight retails for $10,499 for the black version, $10,789 for the silver or orange. Click here for more info.
Motorcycle.com Adds a New Editor
Mon, 05 Nov 2012While some moto publications are cutting back and constricting, Motorcycle.com is proud to announce the addition of a new editor to our masthead. MO readers, meet Jon Langston, our new Associate Editor. I knew Langston was a cool cat when I first met him at the Harley-Davidson Blackline unveiling in January 2011.
