THIS IS A VIVID BLACK, 2006, HARLEY DAVIDSON STREET GLIDE. IT HAS THE 88CI MOTOR AND A 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION. THE MILEAGE IS ABOUT 18,200 RIGHT NOW BUT THAT MAY CHANGE BECAUSE I WILL CRANK THE BIKE AND TAKE IT UP THE STREET JUST TO KEEP IT FROM SITTING AND RUNNING DOWN THE BATTERY. THIS IS AN OVERALL NICE BIKE WITH MANY EXTRAS ON IT, THE ONLY NOTICEABLE PROBLEMS WITH THIS BIKE IS A SCUFF TO THE LOWER PORTION OF THE RIGHT HARD BAG AND A SCRATCH TO THE FRONT FENDER THAT IS BARELY NOTICEABLE. IT HAD A FULL SERVICE AT 15K MILES AND ALL FLUIDS WERE CHANGED AT A PROFESSIONAL SHOP. Harley-Davidson Expands H-D1 Bike Builder Tool for All Non-CVO Models
Fri, 08 Jun 2012Harley-Davidson has expanded its online H-D1 Bike Builder customization tool to include more models from its current lineup. The H-D1 Bike Builder allows users to customize motorcycles with parts from Harley-Davidson‘s catalog. The tool was previously only available for Sportster 1200 models but Harley-Davidson has add all of its models except for the high-end Custom Vehicle Operations line.
Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care
Tue, 26 Mar 2013A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
