Harley-Davidson Touring description

What a rare find here folks

1 owner 97 ol boy with very low miles.
Damn near brand new !

All a person can do is look at pictures, they tell the truth.  If  for some reason you were not able to buy this Scooter when it was available new in 1997 & missed out ,
here is your chance if not to buy & ride its definitely not a bad investment as you already know these are always  moving up in value.

Here is a 1997 Harley FLSTS Heritage Springer Softail
80 cubic inch EVO motor, backed by a 5 speed trans , with a few extras

This has just 1,471 miles !
that right,  it is not a typo
Where to begin ??

I found this bike & saved it , if ya will

I bought it drained all fluids, changed spark plugs , new fluids through out!
replaced battery with brand new harley battery. Took the carb apart & cleaned it, replaced accelerator pump diaphragm
other than that CLEANED , CLEANED , CLEANED , CLEANED & CLEANED.

Even took Harley - Davidson Leather conditioner to all seats &  fringes,

there were 2 fringes on left bag that were cut in half for som reason other than that all are soft flexible like new condition.

SHE IS IN DAMN NEAR SHOW ROOM QUALITY , BY THAT I MEAN AS THE DAY SHE WAS ON DEALER FLOOR FOR SALE IN THE YEAR  97.

There are a few small spots where there was surface rust starting but I cleaned those the best I could & got rid of it, remember this bike sat from 1998 until now without being drivin.
I will guarantee the buyer will not be dis-appointed though.
Really not a scratch through out, no dents nothing.

there might be very little very light scratches from previous owner detailing it but thats it. the dash where the ignition switch is located there are a few there.

paint is perfect , the bags are 99% perfect

over all this bike needs nothing but you!

I have ordered the saddle bag keeper supports for the bags, the original owner had put towels & newspaper in them to keep there shape & did a great job.
but I always buy the kamco shapers, for the springers. & will install them this week when they arrive

she starts ,runs, Idles, shifts & stops just like a brand new bike.

need more pics just ask.

any questions ?  please call 608-604-5461
thanks for looking !

Zero Enters South American Market

Wed, 28 Sep 2011

Zero Motorcycles has signed a distribution deal with the Brazilian dealer network Grupo Izzo, bringing its electric motorcycles to first Brazil, and soon across South America. Brazil is one of the world’s fastest growing markets for motorcycles, a market Zero hopes to tap with its new distribution deal. Grupo Izzo is based mainly in Brazil with 11 locations, but has plans to expand into other South American countries.

What am I gonna do with a gun rack?

Wed, 27 Jul 2011

Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.
