I unfortunately have to sell this absolutely awesome bike due to financial issues. This beast rides and handles better than the two Harleys that I owned previously. Harley Davidson's Rushmore Project made HUGE improvements in comfort and handling in my opinion. I have included some general specs below. MSRP $23,249 The Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic spews long distance comfort from the High Output Twin Cam 103 engine, to the Reflex Linked Brakes with ABS, Daymaker LED lighting, electronic cruise control, to the H-D Factory Security System that comes standard. It also sits on a touring chassis and Dunlop “Multi-Tread” rear tire and glides with the air adjustable rear shocks for improved smoothness. In the past year, Harley-Davidson employees, dealers and riders have shared thousands of amazing experiences, including a ride through the Tibetan Plateau in China, a parade along the beaches of Sao Paulo and even a Papal blessing. But now the party is coming home to Milwaukee over Labor Day weekend, which promises to be the biggest celebration of them all. Milwaukee residents have always been cordial hosts for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who make the journey to the City of Festivals from around the world. The two new styles offer a variety of washes, waist size and inseam. Highlights include a slimmer fit, darker washes and features developed specifically for riding.
Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle
Fri, 25 Apr 2014An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
