Up for sale 2015 Harley Davidson Road Glide Touring FLTRXS Special model comes with 1.7L V-Twin high output engine and 6 speed manual transmission. This bike comes with 6.5inch touch screen info-center Navigation unit, cruise control, Radio and iPod hook up, Rinehart dual 4.5 inch exhaust pipes with Vance and Hines mid pipes, Screamin Eagle Air intake. Original MSRP was $12,400 plus extras.
This bike was purchased from an insurance company therefore carries salvage title. Bike has following damages but not limited to: misc. dents and scratches,front rim edge ding, front fender scratches,dents, upper fairing a few imperfections, oil cooler cover, gas tank misc. dents and scratches(see pics) upper fairing stay bracket bent,inner faring has scratched and split area on right side(See pics)right side speaker enclosure,headlight bottom bracket mounting point broke off but headlight still functions fine(can be epoxy fixed) right saddle bag guard and saddle bag scratched(See pics). Bike is confirmed to start and engine runs. When bike was purchased it had tweaked front forks, we have replaced those with brand new HD oem forks .Both front turn signals are not pictured but will be included with the sale of this motorcycle. This will be a great summer time project for someone who knows how to work on bikes, and with some parts to replace, body or and paint this bike will be back on the road for many miles to come. There is alot of used or aftermarket parts on Ebay to fix this bike back to its original shape or to make a custom bagger out of it. I assume serious bidders only! Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
Harley-Davidson Museum’s Custom Bike Show Weekend on Labor Day

Starting Thursday, August 28 at 5:00 PM, the biggest bike night of the riding season kicks off the event-filled weekend. The holiday gathering will also include two custom bike shows, a women’s ride, displays of the 2015 Harley-Davidson Models, and the last chance to see the H-D Museum’s summer show entitled The American Road.
AMA Pro Racing Announces Preliminary 2013 Road Racing Schedule
Fri, 09 Nov 2012AMA Pro Racing released a preliminary calendar for its 2013 Road Racing season. The tentative schedule contains nine confirmed rounds with another two to be confirmed. Next season will again see four classes of racing: AMA Pro National Guard Superbike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona Sportbike, AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport, and the AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series which returns under its new name.
