Harley-Davidson Touring description

This is a 2014 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic that is a beautiful bike in like new condition.  The body panels all around look fantastic, with absolutely no signs of any abuse.  This bike has definitely been garage kept and babied by it's previous owner.  Only 1,450 miles on it!  The super comfortable seats do not have any rips or tears period.  It is the stock factory setup but also includes ABS and alarm.  LED lighting has been added to the rear that lights up the luggage rack.  Looks fantastic!  The tires both have thousands of miles of tread left on them, as they should with only 1,450 miles ridden so far.  The radio sounds awesome, and is even loud enough to hear with your helmet on.  Has a battery tender already installed so that you can hook it up to a charger for long term storage.  The 103ci motor is super powerful, and mated perfectly to the 6 speed transmission.  This beautiful Ultra Classis even comes with unused headsets so that you can speak clearly to the passenger!  This is a great way to own a like new Touring motorcycle for a great, low price!  Feel free to give us a call at 979-733-8444 with any questions at all.  just ask for Charlie or Wade.  Thanks for looking!

Who To Watch In The AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

The Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series is set to kick off this weekend at Daytona International Raceway, and the competition looks set to be as close as ever. In the contest’s three-year history, the combined margin of victory stands at just over two tenths of a second. And last year’s dogfight saw ninth position take the checkered flag less than eight tenths removed from the victory. Each previous contest has developed into a full-blown drafting war, with the class’ evenly matched machinery testing the tactical acumen of its pilots as they negotiate the high banks within inches of one another.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
