One Owner adult driven and very well maintained bike kept in a heated and cooled garage and always covered up when not ridden. Every maintenance was done with all receipts since day one when purchased new. I am helping my dad sell his bike because his knees and back are not the same at 75 yrs old. He's getting a Camaro Convertible SS instead. This bike has no scratches or flaws and has a lot of extras which I don't even really know them all. I will try and list them all, Lowers, Oil Cooler, ABS, Security, Harmon Kardon, Rear speakers, Heat deflectors, tour pack lights and spoiler, light kit, screaming eagle tuner, pipe and header, 50mm stage 1 kit, filler pieces on rear bags, shorty tinted windscreen, and all the factory parts as well. You will not find a nicer or better maintained bike out there I am sure of that. He was concerned how I took the pictures and the streets were wet and worms might get underneath the bike. It is washed more than ridden for the most part. If you have any questions please ask away so I can make this easy for everyone involved. Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great! Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit
Wed, 24 Oct 2012From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
