thinking about starting a new project. this is my 2011 Harley road king with a ky rebuilt title. I bought the bike had very light damage. has a 103 high output motor, six speed tranny.this bike has a ton of money in parts and only 571 miles since the build I still have the original odo bike had 17000 on it before build but title is marked true mileage unknown. Now for the extras it has hhi short neck kit and trees,30 inch smt wheel with matching 18 inch rotor and willwood brakes,camtech body kit, dirty bird front fender and dash,camtech gel filled seat,powerhouse customs bags and fender witch are 2014 and up along with all 2014 saddlebag supports,dirty bird up yours exhaust,dakota digital gauge,pm gas caps, yaffe fork cans,shift linkage,floor boards and pegs ,misfit front nacel with Harley daymaker,pm handlebar controls, 18 inch ape hangers, mri center stand with front and rear air ride instant up with a 4 inch tank, trotta front turn signals,hhi lower legs, glenndyne designs taillights, air horn,harley heavy breather,hertz super tweeters,jl audio 7.7's,alpine pdx f6 amp with jl audio ipod adapter. there is a ton of money spent on this bike. bike rides and drives perfect. I build and sell these bikes and it is time for the next winter project. I may take a 2014 and up harley touring bike on trade clen title in hand ready to ride!!

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.

The second annual ‘Ride to the Dunes’ charity ride for child abuse awareness kicks off Sunday, June 2 2013, with Grand Marshal Lorenzo Lamas leading the way. The ride will start at Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina Del Rey, California and end at Sycamore Cove State Beach in Malibu, where guests will be treated to lunch and a concert by Alchemy. Riders of all makes and models are welcome to join.

2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements

Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.
