Harley-Davidson Touring description

2011 HD FLHTCUTG I bought this bike from a friend who settled a relatives estate. The Trike has 955 original miles. I picked the bike up at HD in Ottawa, IL. where it had been in storage. I rode the bike around 50 miles and it runs strong and as new. I had a new battery installed with a battery tender clip one week ago. The bike shows as new. Along with the 110 CU IN big bore kit there have been around 7K in additional parts and upgrades to the bike. I have all original documents from HD who did all of the work. Way to much to list. Along with the bike comes all of the following.
  • HD full cover
  • hand air pump to adjust the suspension
  • HD helmet with storage bag
  • full size jel pad
  • HD rain jacket and pants XXL
  • Rain booties and gloves
  • soft HD bag for clothes
  • 2011 owners manual
If you are considering a Trike this one is beautiful with the Merlot Sunglow paint and all of the chrome already on it. Although listed as used the bike is like new in every way.

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.

Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program

Tue, 17 Jan 2012

Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.
