Harley-Davidson Touring description

This RoadGlide Custom was specially customized for a 5'3" tall female rider and it's very low, feminine, but Bad Ass!! Started from a 2010 RoadGlide Custom, everything has been upgraded. All modifications done by Trask Performance in Phoenix including: cut and rake neck for 23" wheel, customized and lowered fairing for small rider visibility (very cool!), Custom Push Up seat (black with pink stitching -$1500) by Guys Upholstery (he does the seats for all of the big custom builders in town), matching black and pink bag liners and dash pocket liners (see photos), 14" black custom V-line bars leaned back just past fork angle to make ride perfect for small rider. Stock 96 cu in motor with PM high performance air intake ($500), EFI Super tuner ($470) , Dirty Bird Concepts two into one performance exhaust (it's loud and dynos at 76 hp, 89 ft-lb torque!) Dirty Bird 4" extended saddle bags ($700), matching side covers ($415), and chin spoiler ($300). Barnett hydraulic low profile clutch, Trask Side Cover and new springs to lighten clutch effort ($800). Oberon 8 position adjustable brake and clutch levers ($500) to fine tune for smaller hands... these are really slick!, We finished it off with a set of PM Forged Gasser style polished wheels ($3000) wrapped with Avon tires ($600) - 180/65B16 rear, 130/60R23 in front, matching pulley rotor and dual front disks ($1065). 23" wrap fender ($600). 41mm 6 degree fork trees ($900). Everything was done right, so this bike handles better than stock; it's like riding on rails!! The shocks were a challenge; went with 10 1/2" Slammers, but while low, they were too stiff for a light weight female rider. Found a company that cuts down and redrills the interior flow holes in the stock Harley air shocks, so we now have the rear at 10 3/4" but with softer ride and air adjustment; really works well. Even found a set of narrow crash bars that look good on it, so she's safe! Custom paint my Shawn Wilken, the painter from Dirty Bird Concepts ($3500). It's sick, deep black base with two pinks; heavy flake over hot pink with a drop shadow; tons of clear, so there are no steps between colors. Truely have to see it in the sun to appreciate it. Like I said, feminine, but with a Bad Ass edge!! Couldn't finish this without going with the Dakota Digital MVX-8X04 guage kit ($1600), color set to pink (magenta :) ) Since we started with a clean RoadGlide, there is close to $50,000 invested and it's worth it. Small, lightweight riders are tricky to create functional baggers for (that's why you don't see many). This one really hits the mark! If you're a lady rider looking to upgrade or a guy with a wife or girl friend looking for a bike that can cruise all day, this is it! Call John at 623-640-3544 with any questions.

The Milwaukee-based company has unveiled its new V-twin, a 131-inch 'crate engine' designed for post-2017 Touring models. Harley-Davidson has not yet had large engines in terms of capacity and power. This behemoth, which looks like a work of modern technoart, is called the Screamin' Eagle Milwaukee-Eight 131.
