Harley-Davidson Touring description

I bought the bike 2 years ago and rode it back from Michigan to Maryland. Last year I added stage 1 with high flow air clearner and Power Vision Dynojet with custom map from Fuel Moto with lifetime map support. I added Stage 2 SE 204 cams and this bike has tons of torque, HP and higher rev limiter. It is much faster than my 2014 103" high output Street Glide Special. The high mileage is because last year I toured all 48 lower states and 3 provinces in Canada. Nearly all the miles were either highway or rolling back roads with little or no traffic. Definitely very gentle miles. 16,500 miles. Everyone says it but i would jump on this bike and go cross country tomorrow and will ride the bike to you if you are willing to cover expenses and airfare back to maryland. At 29,000 miles, i went to an indy bike shop in Cleveland and had the front tire replaced and 30,000 mile service. New spark plug and fresh Mobil 1 synthetic oil this week. Inpection are welcome. Back tire is fine for the rest of the season. Everything works as it should.

I am only selling the bike because I am taking a teaching job overeas with a 2 year contract. I really dont have the storage for all my bikes and I havent ridden it much since purchasing the Street Glide Special in March. But I have been it the past week or so and thinking about renting a storage unit. This bike is really fast and powerful and handles like a dream. Has Harley security and electronic cruise control.

ATTENTION: I HATE PEOPLE USING AUCTION SNIPE AND STEALING AN ITEM AT THE LAST MINUTE THEN RECEIVING MESSAGES FROM PEOPLE CRYING BECAUSE THEY DIDNT GET THEIR BID IN. THE OPENING BID IS THE RESERVE. IF THERE ARENT ANY BIDS 12 HOURS BEFORE THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION, EBAY ALLOWS ME TO END THE AUCTION WITHOUT A PENALTY. IF NO BIDS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. SO IF YOU WANT IT, BID TO OWN IT. IT IS ALSO FOR SALE LOCALLY AND ON OTHER ONLINE SITES. IF THE BIKE DOESNT SELL AFTER 2 LISTINGS, I WILL ETIHER STRIP IT BACK TO STOCK AND RE-LIST FOR 9500-10K OR I WILL GET A STORAGE UNIT. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE ME AN OFFER EITHER STOCK OR AS IT SITS OR WITH A COMBINATION OF SPARE PARTS I WILL ALSO BE LISTING, SEND ME A MESSAGE AND I WILL CANCEL THE AUCTION AND SEND YOU A SECOND CHANCE OFFER. OR MAYBE I WILL SELL MY 1997 WIDE GLIDE STAGE 4 WITH CANDY APPLE GOLD METAL FLAKE PAINT JOB INSTEAD. IF I TURN IT BACK TO STOCK, I WILL USE THE TUNER, AIR CLEANER, AND EXHAUST. I WILL SELL THE PAD, SISSY BAR, LUGGAGE RACK AND 4 PT DOCKING SYSTEM.

IF YOU NEED FINANCING, I CAN TAKE THE BIKE TO A HARLEY DEALER NEAR ME FOR INSPECTION AND YOU CAN APPLY FOR HARLEY CREDIT AT A DEALER  NEAR YOU.

Beautiful bike in nearly flawless condition. Rare 2 tone color combination for the hard bag model. Red hot sunglow (gold metalic flake) and Smokey Gold, which looks gold to platium depending on the sun and shade. On the left saddle bag, there is a small area that was touched up on the back, a ding on the inside near the seat, and a tiny scratch on the top. I only notice them when i am waxing the bike. It was like that. The previous owner also said he cut down the windshield and it might be a little uneven. I have never noticed it but I never use it. It sits in the garage.
2009 has significient upgrades to the frame. Last year for catalic converter free exhaust.

I will try to post a video showing the on the fly noise reduction adaptor so you can hear the difference in loudness levels. It is the silver dial pointed out in the photo. With a turn of the dial, the bike goes back into EPA complaince due to a butterfly mechanism in the exhaust tips.
I am also happy to take any photos or video that you may want.
You can call me from noon to midnight Eastern time to discuss any concerns you might have. 443-789-9131 or send me a message here on Ebay's system. If you dont hear back from me by the next day, assume Ebay's system is acting up and send me another message or call/text me. I am not desperate for money, only space to store all my bikes., so dont waste your time or mine with offers less than those I already quoted here. I wrote a novel but probably still forgot a lot of stuff.
Thanks
Danny

Harley-Davidson Racers Visiting Troops In Middle East

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

A large number of military personnel are also motorcyclists, with many dreaming of the day they can hop back on their steeds after deployment. Harley-Davidson understands this, and in cooperation with Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64, Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines riders Eddie Krawiec and Andrew Hines are joining Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment November 18-22 for Operation Appreciation, an annual visit to American troops stationed overseas. After three years of visiting American military personnel based in Europe, Operation Appreciation will travel to the Middle East to visit troops in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.
