Harley-Davidson Touring description

2008 Road King Classic. Let me start by saying this bike should and could be on the cover of a magazine! Under 7K miles. Crimson Red Sunglo paint. This is the best paint color Harley has and everybody wanted. No need to spend thousands on custom paint. When the sun hits this bike, the flake sparkles and blows your mind! Bike has cruise control, alarm with siren and key fob. Over 10K was spent in making this bad ass machine. Custom Ride Wright chrome Fat Daddy 50 spoke wheels with white wall tires. 21" in the front and 16" in the rear. Carlini 18" chrome gangster apes with internal wires. Front end is all chrome and is lowered the rite way using Progressive monotube gas filled shocks( not a cheap spring kit). Front fender has been removed and leveled and repainted, gives it that gangster look. Bike rides on Arnott adjustable air ride with wireless remote key fob. Seat is made by the best in the country...C&C out of Cali. Mercedes leather with red stitching. Solo seat with removable backrest, passenger pillon and backrest all made to match. Arlen Ness Retro line floorboards, brake, heel/toe shifter and pegs. Color matched hardbags with matching Arlen ness latches. Reinhart 2 into 1 4" exhaust. Screamin Eagle air intake. Power commander tuned to make this bike scream. Redline fluids in all 3 holes. New battery. This bike is no joke and worth every penny. You cant buy or build a nicer bike for this price. I am missing alot of little things on this bike, has to been seen to believe. Selling to build another project. Buy now, plenty of riding season left and have a sweet ride to call your own!*** 1st picture is air ride up and 4th picture is air ride down.***
Also added saddlebag guards, license plate relocate kit, clear turn lenses, matching highway pegs, and screamin eagle racing plug wires and new front tire.

Also if bike sells for $18K and up, winning bidder will receive CycleShell motorcycle shelter as shown in photo, and a spare front tire with about 500miles on it.

** This bike sells all day long for $14K stock, your getting over $10K worth of parts and who knows how much labor would have cost you to build the same bike!**

Happy Birthday Elvis!

Fri, 08 Jan 2010

Born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley would have been 75 years ago today if he was still alive today.  As a tribute to “The King” of Rock and Roll, the Harley-Davidson Museum has created a special exhibit, expanding on the semi-permanent collection from Elvis that has been on display since the museum was opened in 2008. The bill of sale, insurance, and registration papers for the 1956 Harley-Davidson KH pictured above will be on display along with the motorcycle that was owned by Elvis and the Graceland Museum has loaned some rare photos for the occasion. Along with Cadillac’s, Elvis had a passion for motorcycles but especially loved his Hogs and rode Harley’s in many of his films, including Roustabout (1964), Viva Las Vegas (1964), Clambake (1967) and Stay Away Joe (1968).

Built For Speed Art Exhibit To Be Displayed At Sturgis Buffalo Chip

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

“Built for Speed – Race Inspired Motorcycles and Art” is the title of Michael Lichter’s 14th annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition in Sturgis this August, which for the second year in a row, will be jointly curated by Michael and Paul d’Orleans of the Vintagent. ‘Built for Speed’ is sure to impress visitors with a beautiful and thought-provoking display of motorcycles and related art, the race-inspired theme making connections between motorcycle racing and custom bike designs inspired by racers. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track,  Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.
