Harley-Davidson Touring description
2005 Harley Davidson Road King Custom EFI with Security. Low mileage and garage kept. I am the second owner. I bought this bike from my 70 yoa neighbor who rarely used it. It sat on a lift in his garage with a full cover over it. Original receipts since new. Both keys and Security Key Fobs. I have a second windshield and mustache bar that goes with the bike. It just had the 10K service done at All American Harley. I installed an S & S Power Tune Head Pipe and Power Vision. New Yaffe bars - originals go with the bike. New Kuryakyn grips and cruise mate. Matching Highway pegs. Heat deflectors for rocker boxes. Detachable back rest and luggage rack. First pic is how I received it. The others show the new accessories. Runs and looks great. Buyer responsible for shipping and/or pick up. I am purchasing a new to me Ultra. Vehicle is for sale by owner and I reserve the right to sell locally if a qualifying offer is made. Thanks for looking...

Harley-Davisdon Claims US Market Share Lead for Women, Minorities and Young Adults
Mon, 22 Apr 2013For some time now, Harley-Davidson has been trying to fight the stereotyped image of its customer base as being predominantly older, Caucasian males. Harley-Davidson‘s Stereotypical Harley campaign became a big part of the company’s advertising efforts in 2012, featuring real Harley-Davidson owners and showcasing the large diversity of its riders. Fighting against preconceptions can be difficult but Harley-Davidson has some numbers to prove its motorcycles are popular with other demographics including young adults, women and minorities.
Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care
Tue, 26 Mar 2013A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Riders Gearing Up For Road America
Thu, 29 May 2014The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.
