Harley-Davidson Touring description

For Sale: 2005 FLHTCI Electraglide Classic

Asking $9,000.00 with 98,000+ well cared for miles! I never believed in trailering this nice of a touring bike & apparently neither did the original owner. I bought it in May of 2011 with 81,667 miles on the odometer.
At 71,000 miles St. Croix H-D in New Richmond, WI installed a Screaming Eagle Stage II 95 cu in package. The lower end is Factory H-D & it is a sequential port fuel injection Twin Cam w/ SE chain drive cams, pistons & cylinders, SE high flow air cleaner & K&N Air Filter, H-D spring tension self adjusting primary chain adjuster, Kerker performance fishtail slip on mufflers, stock Harley AM/FM CD player with Aux. input, Metzler ME 880 Marathon front & rear tires have about less than 50% tread left on them. Could use a new set of Michelin or Metzler 888s.
Chrome front fork cowbells & lower legs, saddlebag guard leather storage pouches, saddlebag lid guards, Tour Pack luggage rack and w/ H-D Tour Pack 2 1/2" Relocation Kit, H-D 12" lightly smoked windshield with w/s storage pouches w/ magnet close lids instead of velcro.
H-D Sundowner seat, manually adjustable riders backrest & tour trunk passenger backrest.
Chrome rider & passenger floorboard inserts, brake light/turn signal light setup, lower front crash guard covers for riding in the rain or cold. Heavy Duty H-D Tour Pak hinges & latches.
Comes with all original parts not currently on it. Has about 98,000+ miles on it, runs strong & needs nothing. Just came back from a 7300 mile trip with no problems. I am currently running 100% synthetic Amsoil 20/50 motor oil in the motor, primary & trans.
Ready to Ride the Fall Flood Run this on September 21, 2012.
For more info visit: http://www.floodrun.net/

It is Black in color and it has a few chips & scratches in the original paint but overall it is very clean for its mileage.
Mechanically it is in great shape runs strong and shifts crisp.

The 95 cubic inch kit was put in at 71,000 miles so the bigger top end has about 27,000 miles on it. Original cubic inch size was a 88 ci. ( 1450 cc ) It now has a 1556.8 cubic centimeters.

Bike has a total of about 98,000 miles on it. It does look like it has half that many miles on it!

I have all paper work from when it was ordered new and most of the service records.
This geezer twinkie cam glide was bought new at St. Croix Harley in New Richmond, WI.
I bought it in May of 2011. I am the second owner.

I also have new 12" Paul Yaffe touring dresser style black ape hangers, wire extensions, heated hand grips, longer clutch & throttle cables, fairing mounted mirrors, everything needed to install 12 inch high ape hangers on this bike. Price is negotiable on these extras.

Also I have a brand new Hog Tunes 70 watt amplifier w/ mounting bracket that mounts in the fairing & 2 high output replacement speakers for in the fairing, for an additional cost.
Just have not had time to install all these items!

Call or text Dave for more info: 715-410-0182
Or message me thru Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/ThisOldBike

Help me get the bike I need, a FLSTS Heritage Springer Evo or twinkie cam Softail or new 2014 Indian Chief.
I will consider partial trades with all precious metals!

Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight and Roller Derby? [Video]

Thu, 10 Jun 2010

Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
